Podpod
AI hosts turn articles and newsletters into a personalized podcast.
What is Podpod?
Podpod is an AI-powered service that turns written content into a personalized podcast. Instead of reading long articles or newsletters, you can send a link or email and get an audio episode where AI hosts chat about the material. It is designed for busy people who want to stay informed while commuting, working out, or doing chores. The workflow is simple: add podpod.me/ before any article URL or forward a newsletter to a dedicated Podpod email address. The service then generates a podcast episode tailored to that content. Podpod offers distinct AI host personalities, including an easygoing, neutral, and thoughtful Prompted host. A news-focused host that pulls in broader context from the web and a gossip-loving drama host are both teased as coming soon. By combining text-to-podcast conversion with distinct host voices, Podpod aims to make information consumption more flexible and personal. It is particularly useful for digesting research papers, educational pieces, and newsletters, giving listeners a hands-free way to stay curious and informed.
