How to Decide
Legends of Wrestling is known for its authentic roster of wrestling legends and is used by wrestling fans and action gamers. The alternatives split into a few clear camps: WWF Attitude leans on two‑man commentary for a more broadcast‑like feel; Legends of Wrestling II expands the roster with 24 new legends and adds video interview content; WCW/nWo Revenge is a PC‑only title that packs over 60 wrestlers and a 40‑man Battle Royale mode; WWE WrestleMania X8 focuses on the 2002 roster and offers a deep career progression system.
When weighing substitutes for Legends of Wrestling, focus on platform availability (PS2‑only versus PC, Xbox or multi‑platform releases), the breadth and era of the wrestler roster, the depth of career or progression modes, and any supplemental media such as commentary or interview footage that adds authenticity. These factors directly differentiate the listed alternatives and will determine which experience aligns best with your preferred hardware and gameplay depth.
