Overview
Description

Hell is an experiment you can't survive in Outlast, a first-person survival horror game developed by veterans of some of the biggest game franchises in history. As investigative journalist Miles Upshur, explore Mount Massive Asylum and try to survive long enough to discover its terrible secret... if you dare. Acting on a tip from an anonymous source, independent journalist Miles Upshur breaks into the facility, and what he discovers walks a terrifying line between science and religion, nature and something else entirely. Once inside, his only hope of escape lies with the terrible truth at the heart of Mount Massive.

An experiment at a secret research facility has gone catastrophically wrong, leaving Daniel Lamb and Leo Kasper as the only surviving subjects. After escaping from the Dixmor Asylum for the Criminally Insane during a lightning storm, an amnesiac Daniel struggles to piece together his identity while being hunted by a mysterious organization known as the Pickman Project. Guided by the lethal Leo Kasper, players navigate a gritty and perilous world, fighting for survival against bounty hunters and shadowy agents. By returning to the ruins of his old home and uncovering hidden clues, Daniel battles his own paranoia and fading memory to take his life back, leaving a trail of deadly consequences in his wake.
